GONNA BE A LONG NIGHT

Some of you know I have a blog on another site that I post to more frequently. So, why am I posting here? Well, two reasons... 1. I feel I ought to post here once in a while and 2. I kinda wanted to post where some of my regular readers may not see.

It's going to be a short post anyhow. I've been wheezing and having asthma problems for several hours. I had been to my Doc last week and he supposedly had refilled all my regular medications. I didn't find out until this evening that he hadn't and of course his office is closed. I'm out of my rescue inhaler. I even called his answering service but the prick on the phone said I had to wait until 8 a.m. tomorrow. Evidently he has never had asthma or known what it's like to feel you've just run a marathon and have only a straw to breathe in and out of. Evidently he's never passed out on the living room floor blue in the face hoping the ambulance will get there. Well, since I didn't have any extra breath and I knew I had wasted what little I had on the prick, I just hung up on him. But they haven't heard the last of me. I'm going to make sure my doctor knows about it for one.

I'm going to try to meditate and get through the night as best as possible, until 8 a.m. tomorrow morning, so that's all I really have to say for now.
